He is a senior honorary clinical lecturer in orthopaedics at Aston University. He is also clinical lead for the Bone Metastasis Research Collaborative (BMRC) and a trustee for the Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) leading on awareness and early diagnosis in bone sarcoma.
